What a week at the Zagreb Fair, the home of the world dog show in Croatia for the last few days
About World Dog Show 2024
The World Dog Show (WDS) 2024 has successfully ended in Zagreb, Croatia! Running concurrently with the Croatia Winner National Show, this top-tier and thrilling event was organized by the Croatian Kennel Club and took place from April 25 to 28, 2024, at ZAGREBAČKI VELESAJAM. Adding to the excitement, the International Spring Dog Show (CACIB) was held on April 24, 2024, just a day before the World Dog Show kicked off. WDS 2024 appeared the largest World DogShow since 2017. with its entry of 15.000 dogs solely in the World Dog show and 25.000 together in the whole show circle during the 5 days.

Sweet memories of wonderful days
Honestly, it was pretty chilly on Wednesday because all the doors to the hall were open, and it was only 12 degrees Celsius outside. Getting a hot coffee was a struggle too since there were only a few machines and the lines at the coffee stands were massive. But, you know, after a quick run around the ring, it actually got kind of hot—nothing like a bit of adrenaline to help you beat the cold. On the plus side, there was plenty of space for walking the dogs, and the organization of such a big show was top-notch. Come Saturday, the weather was warm, and I brought my own coffee so we were well prepared.
The World Dog Show 2024 in Zagreb, Croatia, offered a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing a unique opportunity to admire Japanese Spitz from various countries all gathered in one place. It was not a competition but a chance to reconnect with old friends and forge new friendships with dog lovers from around the world. The event left everyone with sweet memories of wonderful days spent at the World Dog Show Zagreb Croatia 2024.

The World Dog Show 2024 saw a total of 22 Japanese Spitz entries, with the International Spring Dog Show (CACIB) attracting 11 and the Croatia Winner National Show featuring 16 dogs from 8 different countries (Italy, Switzerland, Russia, Slovenia, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, France).
