Dear fellow Japanese Spitz enthusiasts!

Founded in 2023, this project was created to offer a shared space for those who care deeply about the Japanese Spitz — its history, health, and future. Through the study of original documents, primary sources, and archival materials, we work to uncover and preserve the origins of the breed and to better understand how its distinctive traits have evolved over time.

Our aim is to support informed breeding, responsible stewardship, and the long-term well-being of the Japanese Spitz by making historical and research-based knowledge accessible to all.

We warmly invite you to take part in this growing community — whether as a reader, contributor, or collaborator — and to help build a thoughtful, accurate, and lasting archive for the breed.
